    Recently purchased the A229 Pro 3 channel dashcam. Before buying it I had done a lot of research on other dashcams including this one. I had a few doubts initially as the cost of the dashcam is pretty high. Spoke to Vijay. He cleared all doubts without and reservations at all. In fact I ended up buying 3 – A229 pro 3 channel cams for my wife, father and a friends car. Fantastic response and service from Vijay.     I recently installed the Viofo A220 Pro in my car, and let me tell you, it’s been a game changer! Here’s my honest take on this 3-channel dash cam:

    Crystal Clear Footage: The video quality, especially on the front camera, is fantastic. The 4K resolution captures everything in sharp detail, which is crucial for catching license plates and road signs. Even the interior and rear cameras deliver crisp visuals, providing a complete picture of what’s happening on the road.

    Packed with Features: I love the built-in GPS that tracks my location and the G-sensor that automatically saves footage during bumps or swerves. Loop recording is a lifesaver, ensuring I never run out of storage. Plus, the Viofo app lets me easily view and download videos to my phone using Wi-Fi – super convenient!

    Some Minor Hiccups: The three cameras can be a bit bulky compared to other dash cams. It wasn’t a dealbreaker for me, but it might be for some. Also, the app connection can be a little finicky sometimes. Thankfully, Viofo seems to be on top of it with frequent updates.

    Overall Impression: Despite the minor drawbacks, I’m super impressed with the Viofo A220 Pro. The top-notch video quality, feature set, and peace of mind it brings make it well worth the investment, in my opinion. Highly recommended for drivers who prioritize comprehensive coverage and excellent video evidence.

    I bough this car camera last year December 2023. Initailly the front camera was having some GPS and time retention issues. VIOFO team (Vijay) made sure that the product is replaced and all giudance to use the product at its optimum capacity. Good product – Videos are very clear in day and good at night. Only the CPL in the front camera does not meet the purspose when there is a direct sunlight on the dashboard and creates effects of reflection on the video. Other than that the product is good and support is really Great !

    Bought cpl filter for rear also which was good decision.
    Qualitty speaks. Whether its day or night it records brilliant footage. 5g wifi is saviour..downloads the data really very fast. I know it’s costly but its worth.

    This is without a doubt the best dashcam on the market. 3 channel support records well on 3 views perfectly. Interor cam has an infrared recording for night recording with auto infrared on/off due to headlights from the vehicle behind. It also auto-detects bumps, collisions etc and saves the video in the gallery, a very useful feature. Records clear 4k videos and everything is easily accessible on the VIOFO app. Great support from Viofo, replaced my clonked-off front cam within 2 days.
    The only shortcoming I have found is that they still haven’t come out with the OBD kit that will enable parking protection without going through the hard wire kit route. And the price is on the higher side.

    In parking mode (1fps, HK4 Set to 12.4V), I achieved an impressive 19 hours and 7 minutes of recording time using my Viofo 256GB card, with 175.57GB of free space remaining. The app’s playback and download features were also surprisingly user-friendly.

    The technical support team provided exceptional assistance during installation. I’d give more than 5 stars if possible! I highly recommend this brand to all vehicle owners – it’s a game-changer!
